  there is a christian organisation that builds churches in one day, oddly enough they are called church in a day.

  Question about Bible Studies?

  is there any restriction on jehovah's witnesses becoming friends with their "bible studies"?

  while they are studying with them could they do things like go to the movies, go out for a cup of coffee, or just hang out with out the pretense of it being a study?

  i tried to search on my version of the watchtower library cd-rom but could not find any direct answers.

  Young adults who are disfellowshipped/disassociated and houselessness?

  i was wondering if anyone knew of any individuals that became houseless when they were disfellowshipped or disassociated themselves.

  i know that i had to move out of my house within a few months after i disassociated myself, but i believe that if i did not have anywhere to go my parents would not have kicked me out of the house.. .

  How do the Jehovah's Witnesses understand the narrative of the Bible/themselves?

  i'm trying to get my head around a basic overview of how the jehovah's witnesses understand the narrative flow of scripture and their own history within that.

  to me this provides a good general framework from which most of their theology flows.

  this is a brief sketch that i have done off the top of my head.

  these are some of my favorite new testament scholars.

  all of these guys and many others fall within the "jesus is the restoration of israel" court of new testament studies.

  obviously these are not the only ones, there are many others but these are my favorite thus far.
